Under Vehicle Imaging System uses digital line-scan technology to provide a safe and effective way to search vehicle undercarriages. The system is available as a mobile or static unit and can be used at international border crossings, high-value sites, military bases, and nuclear facilities -- anywhere where vehicle inspection is critical to your operation and its security.

The UVIS captures a high resolution color image of the vehicle's undercarriage and then displays it on a touch screen monitor. The user can then search for items such as explosive devices, firearms and other types of contraband. The view may be magnified up to twelve times for a more detailed search. Images may also be identified with their corresponding license plate numbers and archived for future reference.

The Under Vehicle Imaging System:
1. Inspects the entire undercarriage within seconds
2. Automatically displays the full undercarriage image on a touch screen monitor
3. Scrolls and pans via the touch screen software for faster image analysis
4. Allows the operator to zoom in and roam around the image for detailed and thorough inspection
5. Saves the image with a time and date stamp to an automobile database for future review
6. Allows the inspection to occur while the automobile is moving through the system for faster throughput
